- Before physically installing, spend sometime considering the best location. Especially if using the solar panel
- Recommend using screws to mount on wall. Using the supplied sticker could pull of paint or wall paper when used with heavier blinds
- The solar panel has a built-in light sensor that can be used to trigger blind opening or closing automations
- Roller blinds require a beaded chain to work with the blind motor. Blinds with a smooth cord are not compatible

You will need a compatible ZigBee hub (such as a Moes Zigbee hub), a smartphone with the Moes/Tuya Smart Life app (free).
Is professional installation required?
No, the blind motor is designed for DIY installation. It comes with all necessary mounting accessories and a detailed guide to help you set it up quickly. If using the sticker to mount the blind it will take only 5 minutes, if using screws and wall plugs it will take about 15 minutes to install.
Which types of blinds is the motor compatible with?
The motor works with various blinds including roller blinds, vertical blinds, roman blinds, zebra blinds, and even curtains or drapes. A beaded pull chain is required
How do I control the blind motor?
You can control the blinds using the Moes or Tuya Smart Life app. This allows you to set schedules, adjust settings manually, and integrate with voice assistants such as Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, or Apple Siri. The blind motor can also be integrated with other smart home systems like Home Assistant.
