The Ecowitt GW2000 gateway connects Ecowitt sensors and smart devices to a central location for management, data collection and smart home integration. Designed for weather watchers and smart homes, the GW2000 gateway is feature rich and simple to setup and use.

- Home Network Connectivity: Wi‑Fi 2.4GHz (802.11 b/g/n) and Ethernet (RJ45) connectivity. The home network connection enables the router to access the internet.
- Smart Home: Integrates with smart home systems like Amazon’s Alexa and Home Assistant
- Built‑in sensors: barometric pressure (300–1100 hPa), temperature (‑10 °C to 60 °C) and humidity (1 %–99 %)
- Power over Ethernet support requires external PoE splitter. PoE allows the network cable to deliver bother data and power to the gateway.
- Uploads to weather services: Ecowitt.net, Wunderground, WeatherCloud, Met Office WoW and custom servers e.g. Homeseer and Home Assistant
- Local access: via web browser or the Ecowitt app
- Compatible with all Ecowitt sensors: Weather stations, rain gauge, lightning sensor, leak detector, thermometers, smart plug, water flow controller etc
- Long range: up to 150 m from Ecowitt sensors and 50 m to home WiFi router
- Power: USB 5 V ⎓ 1.0 A power (USB cable included)
