Installation & Setup
Connecting to the YoLink Hub
The sensor requires a YoLink Speaker Hub (models: YS1604-UC for US/Canada or YS1604-EC for UK/Europe). The hub connects to your home router via Ethernet or WiFi, giving the hub (and by extension the sensor) internet access.
Pairing Process Using QR Code
- Power up the YoLink hub: Make sure the hub is connect to your network and wait for status lights to indicate a internet connection has been established
- Install the YoLink app: Available on iOS and Android
- Add the sensor:
- Open the YoLink app
- Go to top right of app and click the QR scan icon (a square with line through the middle)
- Scan the QR code located on the contact sensor
- Follow in app instructions to complete pairing
- Test connectivity: Verify the sensor appears online in the app
Physically Installing the Sensor
